Together we provide children with curriculum based creative experiences that broaden their horizons, increase self-esteem and enable them to make better access of classroom based learning. The children spend a day at the Watts Gallery - Artists' Village where they learn about the art of George and Mary Watts and take part in a sculpture, ceramics or printmaking workshop. Their artistic journey continues back at school with Paintbox where they paint a canvas which is then exhibited at the Watts Gallery - Artists' Village. The project finishes with a private view and celebration with families and teachers. The children document their arts experience in their Arts Award journals and work towards Arts Award Discover.
